Wetlands Walk

Evening stroll with some beautiful light

While visiting my family for the holidays, I was able to get out to some local wetlands. There was nice atmosphere with some fog/smog in the air. I shot all these images with my Fujifilm X-Pro3 and Voigtlander 23mmF1.2. They were edited with CALEB SALVADORI's Lightroom presets. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Always surprised by the oil drills being located so close to these wetlands.

I know it's just a photo of the ground, but I like the texture & pattern.

I liked the leading line & texture. It's like a miniature canyon.

More fun with lines & the pop of color is really striking in my opinion.

I've been experimenting more with blue hour, and it's quickly becoming my favorite time to shoot.

I've also been trying to incorporate flash and I've learned that blue hour is a great time for it. Really loving this one.

It was cool to grab this, but I did end up having to walk back in the dark which was a bit spooky.

Ran into this little guy, but I felt bad that I spooked them with my flash.

Finished up my walk looking up at these cool trees with my flash.

Overall, super happy with how these came out. These presets are the closest I've come to replicating the look I get on film. Shout out to Caleb for these presets. Hopefully you enjoyed this small set of images; I know it's been awhile since I've made one of these. Maybe I'll actually start on making a book one of these days. Anyways, until the next one!
